Rosana Corbacho


M.I. Therapy is an organization aiming to raise awareness of mental health in the music industry. Through specialized treatment, workshops, conferences and panels. Joining forces with specialists working in improving life balance for artists and other professionals based all around the world.


Rosana Corbacho is a clinical and humanistic psychologist specialised in the music industry. In addition to working in therapy, she has experience from various roles in the music industry from music labels, to booking agencies, to PR to tour managing.. that finally lead her to found M.I. Therapy. Rosana is working with therapy treatment using science based techniques for music creatives and business professionals and raising awareness of mental health in the music industry. At her practice, she focuses on addiction, anxiety, depression and other disorders treatment as well as personal development for musicians, bookers, managers, crew members and other professionals. She works with single clients, artists, bands or group therapy.

One of her passions is prevention and she strongly believes education is key. You can find her teaching at Berklee University Valencia, International Music Business Master Degree, or Fundación Paideia or the Live Nation´s Master Degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid amongs others. Some of the subjects she focuses on are impostor syndrome, creative blocks, improving relationships and psychology tools to help prevent and treat the main mental health disorders.

Rosana is part of Music Industry Therapist Collective, an organization based in London and USA that provides clinical services to companies and clients working in music. They just released the Touring and Mental Health Manual, created and edited by Tamsin Embleton as well as offered four workshops at the International Live Music Conference 2023 in London.

Recently she was invited to join Borer Newman´s team (USA & Canada based) as a consultant. Applying science and the latest psychology tools as a shared mission. They focus in creating programs for crew, bands and music companies as well as researching on the fields. You can find them touring with bands or offering therapy at festivals like Coachella.
She collaborates with Musika Bulegoa, an association that supports and promote music created in the Basque Country, offering consultancy and workshops regularly as well as having created the Music Industry Mental Health Guide and presented it in Bilbao´s Bime 2022.
On the raising awareness side, you can find M.I. Therapy and Rosana in press at the Spanish National Radio 3´s “Generación Ya”, Ethic Magazine and newspapers like El Nacional.Cat or El Diario.es. where she talks about musicians´ suicide prevention, depression, addictions and how to find balance between career and personal life.
Rosana has been invited to talk and hold workshops and panels at Primavera Sound, Mutek, Amsterdam Dance Event, BIME, Future Music Forum Barcelona, Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, The International Music Summit in Ibiza and Tallinn Music Week to name a few. Some of her recent work included Tunecore´s in-house Mental Health Awareness Month in New York City and Berklee University Valencia Campus Mental Health Awareness Week. She has been leading group therapy sessions for Spotify Equal and collaborates with high tier UK and US Tour Managers at The Back Lounge Music Touring and Events Group. She is an active member of Asociación MIM in Spain and SheSaid.So international. She has received the Keychange Inspiration Award by Amazon Music at Bime Bilbao 2022 after being selected as innovator in 2020 and co-creating the first Keychange Alumni program edition.
Apart from being the Health Co-chair of AFEM and creating the Tips on ‘How to Handle Loneliness”, she has collaborated with Tunecore´s research “Be the Change - Women in Music” 2022 & 2023 as she is eager to participate in growing the much needed research on psychology for the music industry.
